Annual General Meeting - 4 August 2009

The NICF Annual General Meeting took place on 4 August 2009 at the Offices of the Institute in Nottingham.

Phil Poser was re-elected as President of the Institute with Steve Ramsden re-elected as Vice-President.

Bill Cruickshank was re-elected as Honorary Treasurer.

New Council members elected were:

Kevin Stephen of Spotnails Ltd, a Patron member of NICF
Justin Walker

NICF - President's Golf Day - 9 July 2010

The President's Golf Day will this year take place at the Long Sutton Golf Club, Langport, Somerset TA10 9JU on 9 July 2010.


The schedule for the day is:

 

  • Coffee and bacon roll on arrival
  • 9 holes of golf
  • Light lunch
  • 18 holes of golf
  • 2 course carvery and coffee

If you would like to attend the event the cost per person is £37.00.  Cheques should be made payable to NICF and sent to the NICF office in Nottingham by Friday 2 July 2010.

Increased discount on FITA courses for NICF members

We are pleased to announce that the discount for NICF members for FITA training courses is now 15%. 

This increased discount has been agreed in order to encourage more members to take advantage of the FITA training courses.

The discount does not apply to bespoke courses or any promotions.

European Team Fitting Competition - Domotex 2009

The European Team Fitting Championshhips took place at Domotex in Hannover from 17-20 January 2009.

7 teams entered the competition this year including the GB Team.  The standard of fitting among the competitors was, as ever, very high this year and sadly the GB Team did not finish in the top 3.  They were nevertheless placed first by a number of judges in individual categories.
